PSSD (Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction) - What are the Non Sexual Symptoms?

The purpose of this video is to talk about some of the other symptoms that people experiencing post-SSRI sexual dysfunction usually report.
So, you know, aside from the general anesthesia and the maybe erectile dysfunction, decreased lubrication and inability to achieve an orgasm, a lot of the patients with PSSD actually report other symptoms.
So, some things that we, you know, that we're seeing in the literature and the case reports are a severe emotional blunting and numbing.
Some people say they've moved through their life and they feel no emotion after this, and it's just, you know, a really dark, persistent emotional blunting that can be really, really challenging for them to deal with.
Other things that they report can be a variety of other neurological problems interfering with their senses, whether it's their smell or their taste or their vision.
That is reported frequently in the case reports, and also people report a lot of cognitive impairment, you know, difficulty focusing or concentrating.
So, those are the frequent other psychiatric symptoms that people are reporting.
