PSSD Network, 23 Dicembre 2023 RACCOLTA FONDI E RICERCA La raccolta fondi per la ricerca sta procedendo bene, grazie alla dedizione della comunità e alla generosità di alcuni donatori. Abbiamo lanciato la nostra pagina di donazione nel giugno 2023 e, al momento in cui scriviamo, abbiamo raccolto 43.244,28 USD solo per la ricerca. Una parte dei fondi raccolti è stata trasferita all'Università di Milano per sostenere la ricerca del dottor Melcangi sulla PSSD. L'Università ha confermato il ricevimento della donazione. L'Università di Milano accetta un massimo di 26.000 euro per volta. Poiché i trasferimenti di denaro comportano anche dei costi, è nell'interesse della comunità aspettare di ottenere la prossima somma di 26.000 euro prima di trasferire i fondi rimanenti.  Ogni donazione fatta all'università deve inoltre essere approvata dal consiglio di amministrazione dell'università, il che può richiedere del tempo.
